For those who are new to the profession, attending plumbing events is a great way to gain some insight and network. You could meet your future employer at one of these shows or even find some contacts who could help you to start your own plumbing firm down the line.
From networking events to trade expos that introduce the latest plumbing technologies, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved with events across the UK this year. This post will provide you with a timeline of the events happening during the rest of 2020, as well as highlighting the most important information about each event.
March
KBB Birmingham
Dates: Sunday 1st March to Wednesday 4th March
Location: NEC Birmingham
Kicking things off in March, we have the kbb Birmingham design show, an event that showcases the latest and greatest kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom products. There’ll be over 400 well-known brands there for you to visit, with plenty of opportunities to network and make contacts from throughout the plumbing trade. It’s also a free event.
PlumbExpo
Dates: Thursday 12th to Friday 13th March
Location: EventCity Manchester
Next, we have the PlumbExpo trade show at EventCity Manchester. This dynamic regional trade show is expected to be a huge event, with between 5,000 and 20,000 visitors attending. You’ll get the chance to speak to product manufacturers directly and test out the latest products in a hands-on environment. Registration is free for existing tradesmen – what’s more, you’ll get a free bacon roll and a t-shirt for attending!

The NMBS Exhibition
Date: Wednesday 22nd April
Location: Ricoh Arena Coventry
Meet building and plumbing merchants from across the UK at the NMBS Exhibition. With more than 300 exhibitors showcasing their and substantial discounts on offer to attendees, there’s no excuse to miss it. The exhibition is completely free and should be a great chance to network and meet suppliers.

Installer2020
Dates: Tuesday 12th May to Thursday 14th May
Location: Ricoh Arena Coventry
The Installer2020 trade show connects over 150 suppliers with thousands of tradespeople. There’ll be dedicated bathroom, commercial, and tool zones set up for this free event, allowing you to connect with the brands and reps that are most relevant to you.

PHEX Tottenham 2020

Women Installers Together 2020
Date: Wednesday 1st July
Location: London Metropolitan University
The Women Installers Together 2020 conference will feature talks from industry experts, roundtable discussions, and food! Although the event is completely free, a light breakfast, lunch, and drinks will be provided. You’ll also get a chance to meet the industry press, an opportunity for you to meet the people who represent the trade and forge relationships for the future.
