Course overview

Every person who attends this facility will receive top-notch training with the intention of giving them the best possibility to find employment in the field when they have completed their studies.

Our trainers are the best in the business when it comes to experience and expertise.

The centre is conveniently located in Paisley, Glasgow, on a street that is easily accessible from all major highways.

Each individual will have their own training bay, which will measure 2m by 2m and is the perfect size for those with little to no experience to learn in.

Everything from preparation to a flawless finish for decorating will be covered in the session.

Why pick us?

When you first start plastering, you’ll run across several challenging issues. One or two poor preparatory procedures can entirely sabotage an otherwise excellent job. But if you know what crucial errors to avoid, a marginal issue can be swiftly and simply fixed.

We’ll lead you through our tiered training approach and demonstrate how to do the duties in a way that immediately improves your tradesperson effectiveness and gives you more control over your chosen specialty.

About the course

To ensure that they understand what to do, students will first watch a demonstration of how to use equipment, mix plaster, and prepare walls. Each individual will have an own bay to work in. The opportunity to work on their own bays at their own pace will thereafter be given to the students.

Anyone who is serious about beginning a plastering course right away has a challenging learning curve. However, Skills Training Group is the best place to start if you want to “shortcut” the procedure and avoid the months or even years of trial and error that most individuals experience.

Our courses emphasise hands-on learning, with teachers first explaining and demonstrating tools and equipment. Since all of the courses are hands-on, expect to get messy! Therefore, you should pack some proper clothing.

The tools, supplies, and safety gear you will need while you are here will all be provided by us. Every student must also wear protective gear, such as boots that you don’t mind getting dirty.
