Why should my employees attend a first aid training course?

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require you to provide first aid equipment, facilities, and people so your employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work. First-aid assessments of some businesses will find that only an “appointed person” is required – this role does not require training. Other businesses, however, will legally require one or more staff to receive training and gain either the EFAW or FAW qualifications, depending on the outcome of your first aid assessment.

Why choose Skills Training Group for first aid training?

The Greenock first aid training courses offered by Skills Training Group are accredited by the FAIB, so your employees will leave with an officially recognised qualification (either EFAW or FAW, depending on the requirements of your business). Our aim is to make the process as easy as possible for you by delivering the courses on-site at your business premises if needed. In addition, we only employ highly experienced trainers, guaranteeing that your staff will receive high-quality training and complete the course with all of the knowledge that they need.
