The full course builds your knowledge from the start. The Refresher helps previous learners revisit and update it. Both include teaching with a trainer, so you can ask questions as you learn.
Our Paisley academy is our only classroom venue for IOSH. The one-day Refresher is delivered live online.

Choose the full Managing Safely course if you have not completed it before. Choose the refresher if you have previously completed Managing Safely and want to update your knowledge. The refresher requires your original certificate number.
No previous health and safety expertise is required for the full course. It is suitable for managers, supervisors and team leaders across industries. The refresher has a different entry requirement: you must already have completed Managing Safely.
Our one-day refresher is delivered live over Zoom with a trainer. It is scheduled teaching, rather than self-paced e-learning. Our full three-day course is offered in the classroom, with on-site group delivery also available. Explore the live online refresher.
IOSH Managing Safely certificates do not expire. Refresher training helps keep your knowledge current; IOSH recommends refreshing every three to five years. Your employer may have its own training requirements. Find out about refresher training.
