This Online CPR Course is open to anyone who wants to learn how to perform CPR on an adult, child, or infant.
Modules breakdown
This online First Aid, CPR, and AED Awareness course covers the following topics:
- Understand the significance of automated external defibrillation (AED)
- Learn about the survival chain.
- Understand how the heart and its electrical system work. Be familiar with the major heart rhythms.
- Understand how to complete the primary survey.
- Understand how to deal with a victim who is unconscious.
- Know how to perform CPR, including hands-only CPR.
- Understand the functions of an AED.
- Understand the AED’s safety features.
- Understand the distinctions between adult and paediatric CPR algorithms.
- Learn about the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
- Be able to assist a choking victim (both adult and paediatric).
- Understand the symptoms of angina
- Understand the distinctions between adult and paediatric CPR algorithms.
- Learn about the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
