Course overview
The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is a nationally recognised CITB qualification designed for individuals who coordinate, plan, or oversee construction activities. It is trusted by principal contractors, developers, and local authorities across Liverpool and the wider UK, making it an essential credential for effective site leadership.
The course is delivered in an online live classroom with a CITB-approved trainer, offering full real-time interaction, group participation, and expert support from any suitable location. This flexible learning format mirrors the benefits of a traditional classroom while providing greater convenience for busy construction professionals.
For organisations with six or more delegates, we can also deliver the full SMSTS programme on site at your Liverpool workplace. Both delivery options follow the complete CITB syllabus and lead to the same officially recognised SMSTS certification.
- Live tutor-led sessions via secure video conferencing
- Fully CITB-approved and identical to classroom SMSTS content
- Ideal for managers working across multiple Liverpool sites or large regional projects
- Digital course materials provided for easy access and revision
This flexible delivery model ensures high-quality, interactive learning while allowing delegates to choose the format that best suits their schedule and team structure.
