Assessment
To achieve your SMSTS qualification, you will need to:
- Attend all five training days
- Participate in group discussions, activities, and case studies
- Complete short knowledge checks throughout the course
- Pass the final multiple-choice examination

Qualification & Renewal
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the CITB Site Safety Plus SMSTS Certificate, which is valid for five years. This qualification is widely recognised across the UK construction sector and often required for management positions.
To renew your qualification, you must complete the 2-day SMSTS Refresher Course before your certificate expires.
