    Course overview

    The {{mpg_location}} based CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) provides a comprehensive two-day training programme at a cost of £199 for the virtual course and £279 for the classroom course.

    This scheme equips construction supervisors, foremen, engineers, and labour staff with essential knowledge of legal, health, safety, welfare, and environmental aspects relevant to their roles. 

    The SSSTS course is recognised by the UK Contractors Group (UKCG) as a key requirement for personnel working on UK construction sites.

    The CITB SSSTS course is available both online as a live instructor-led virtual class and in a traditional classroom setting. Its certification remains valid for 5 years.

    Course Programme:

    • The SSSTS course, attracting over ten thousand students annually, focuses on effective supervision on construction sites.
    • Recognised by the UKCG as an industry standard for supervisors, foremen, and other relevant staff.

    Course Content & Overview includes:

    • Health and Safety at Work Act
    • Daily challenges faced by site supervisors
    • Conducting effective toolbox talks
    • Supervision of occupational health
    • Behavioural safety

    Entry Requirements:

    • Strong command of reading, spoken, and written English.

    Course Materials:

    • All necessary materials, including Site Supervision Simplified GE706 and Toolbox Talks, are provided.

    Assessment:

    • Full attendance and active participation across both days.
    • Assessments include individual and group exercises, case studies, and a final multiple-choice test.

    Qualification & Renewal:

    • Successful candidates receive the CITB Site Safety Plus SSSTS Certificate.
    • Valid for 5 years, followed by a 1-day SSSTS Refresher course for renewal, or the option to upgrade to the 5-day CITB SMSTS course.

    Tutors:

    • Course delivered by CITB-accredited trainers known for high-quality teaching.

    Grants Available:

    • CITB-registered companies can claim a £140 grant (subject to approval).

    In-House Training:

    • Available upon request delivered at your venue or office nationwide.
